Our Story

We Will W.I.N.

In December 2015, Pastor Jay started a Bible Study group in the Charlotte area, based on the requests from those he knew who had not yet found a church home, but, who wanted to grow in their Christian walk and journey. This Bible Study group, affectionately called, “Inner Circle”, soon expressed their desire for Sunday worship. After much prayer and seeking the Lord, the Holy Spirit made it evident of His call to plant The Anointed Answer Ministries (AA). Worship service was moved to our current location at The Palmer Building on August 7, 2016. Pastor Jay was officially installed as the pastor of AA on September 10, 2016.

Anointed Answer’s vision statement is summed up with the phrase “Bridging the Gap”. This is with our focus on touching the heart of God & serving with a focus on impacting others.

WHO WE ARE

At Anointed Answer Ministries, we are a loving community centered on faith, compassion, and spiritual growth. Grounded in the teachings of Christ, we strive to embody His love and extend His grace to all who seek refuge in our church. Our vibrant congregation is a diverse tapestry, encompassing individuals from all walks of life, united in their pursuit of a deeper relationship with God and a desire to make a meaningful impact on the world around them.

Pastor Jay and his family

Pastor Jay is married to Yvonne Anderson a.k.a. “Lady Yvonne”, whom he still calls his “beautiful bride”, even after 20 plus years of marriage. They have one son, Levi Anderson. In 2010, Under the leadership of his of his Pastor, Dr. Robert L. McGowens Sr. (Greater Galilee Baptist Church, Charlotte, NC), Pastor Jay was licensed to preach the Gospel. Ordained in 2012 by the United Missionary Baptist Association, Pastor Jay continued to pursue his love to share God’s Word. Pastor Jay has a heart for changing lives & a passion to win souls for God’s Kingdom. With a focus to remain faithful, Pastor Jay, Lady Yvonne, Levi & the entire AA family are excited about the future of the Anointed Answer Church.
